Cascading via master-slave concept

Master PDUs can address up to 11 slave PDUs cost-effectively and space-savingly via a Modbus connection. The PDUs are connected via a standard CAT5e network cable, no special cables are required. It is possible to establish the connection very slim and without any patch field guidance directly within the rack row. 


The data of all connected slave PDUs can be clearly displayed and read out via the IP address of the master PDUs. This does not require any special configuration of the network switches. This also ensures the necessary and very detailed transparency of consumption, load and relevant states for the master-slave concept. 


Customer-specific PDU

For a professional and homogeneous power supply in the data center, PDUs are required that adapt to your needs. The BlueNet series in the Custom Built PDU area offers tailor-made units that go far beyond the standard range - even for small quantities. 


Energy management

An essential quality feature of the BlueNet series is the high measuring accuracy of the PDUs and their software. The PDUs have a measuring accuracy of ±1 % over the entire measuring range. This is referred to as "Billing Grade Accuracy". You receive all measured energy consumption data in digital form and can easily bill them to your business or specialist departments. This saves you a lot of money as an internal data center service provider. 


Fast identification

BlueNet PDUs are available in ten different colors to quickly and easily distinguish between PDUs in the data center. This allows a quick distinction to be made between A and B supply, 16 and 32 A or single- or three-phase systems. Different areas in the data center can also be equipped with PDUs in different colors. 


Secure connections

BlueNet offers various options for securely connecting servers to PDUs. In addition to slide-on locking lugs that secure two C13 ports, there is also the height-adjustable universal lock that locks both C13 and C19 ports. In addition, SecureSleeves can be used not only to secure the connectors, but also to mark them in colour - without the need to purchase special cables.

Switching off according to DGUV V3 can be omitted by permanent repeat testing.

Permanent monitoring is a must in modern information technology. Continuous monitoring equipment reduces the effort required for legal repeat testing. According to the accident prevention regulation DGUV V3, shutdown can be avoided by permanent residual current monitoring. For this purpose, the CPI process chain must be implemented, for which a declaration of conformity from the employers' liability insurance association is available.

Our energy monitoring is optionally expandable, regardless of whether you want to control and monitor the power network of the data center from your workstation, or whether you want to monitor or evaluate all essential data on the road or at home.


We monitor current, voltage and power values and, if required, create reports on the basis of which you can make statements about the future.

Error cases are completely eliminated because all resources can be distributed efficiently.  


Through the use of residual current monitoring, changes in the insulation level of a power supply can be detected at an early stage before a high personal and fire hazard fault current triggers protective devices.


This always ensures that the availability of the power supply has absolute priority and that no unexpected shutdown occurs in the event of a fault.
